Tal Queller is a research scientist in the Plasma Laboratory, Faculty of Physics, at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, where he was previously a postdoc. His research is experimental and is in the field of high-energy-density plasmas, the interaction of plasmas with intense pulsed magnetic fields, and plasma spectroscopy. He received his PhD from the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology Plasma Physics and Pulse Power Research Lab, where he investigated the interaction of plasma with high-power microwaves.
