Melissa Dancy is a principal research associate in The Evaluation Center at Western Michigan University. In the Fall of 2025, she will join the physics department at North Carolina State University as an associate professor. Her research focuses on supporting science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) departments in higher education to increase student learning and to improve the climate to be fair for all. She also frequently serves as an evaluator on National Science Foundation funded projects.
