Daniele Marinazzo is a full professor at the Department of Data Analysis of Ghent University, Belgium. He trained as a statistical physicist and now studies complex systems and their dynamical interactions in several settings and applications. In particular, his research focuses on theoretical and computational neuroscience and on the analysis of neuroimaging data. He is actively involved in international consortia, societies, and organizations in the fields of physics and neuroscience. He is coauthor of more than 300 scientific papers, coeditor in chief of Neurons, Behavior, Data Analysis, and Theory, section editor of PLOS Computational Biology, and associate editor and reviewer for several multidisciplinary journals.
