Christian Roos is an associate professor at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. After receiving his PhD in 2000 at the University of Innsbruck, he pursued postdoctoral research at the Kastler Brossel Laboratory, France, before moving to the Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and finally back to the University of Innsbruck. His research explores quantum physics using trapped ions, with a focus on quantum simulation and high-precision spectroscopy.
